تم تصميم التطبيق للأطفال الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين ٨ و ١٦ سنة، ولكن له جاذبية واسعة لجميع الأعمار. ”أسرار الإمارات السبعة“ هو تطبيق تعليمي غير خطّي. يحفّز الأطفال، باستخدام تقنيات الواقع الافتراضي والألعاب، للتعرف على تاريخ الإمارات العربية المتحدة من خلال الاكتشاف الذاتي.

يجد المستخدمون أنفسهم في عوالم افتراضية ممتدة على ٣٦٠ درجة والتي يمكنهم استكشافها بحثاً عن أدلة خفيّة باستخدام هواتفهم ”كـنوافذ سحرية“. يمكنهم الانخراط في عوالم قديمة مفقودة، تم إعادة إنشائها باستخدام تقنيات التأثيرات المرئية المدهشة، وفي بيئاتٍ حديثة تم تصويرها بكاميرات الواقع الافتراضي المتطورة. إيجاد الأدلّة يؤدّي إلى عرض رسوم متحركة على نمط الرواية المصورة أو أفلام قصيرة أو رسوم بيانية، للكشف عن حقائق مذهلة من الماضي ومساعدة المستخدمين على حلّ سلسلة من الألغاز وكسب رموز مميزة لكل إمارة من الإمارات السبع.

Aimed at children aged 8-16 years old, but with broad appeal for all ages, the ‘7 Mysteries of the Emirates’ app is a non-linear, educational tool. Using Virtual Reality and gaming techniques, children are motivated to learn about the United Arab Emirates’ history through self-guided discovery.

Users find themselves in 360-degree worlds which they can explore in search of hidden clues, using their phones as ‘magic windows’. They can immerse themselves in lost ancient words that have been recreated using stunning photo-real visual effects technology, and in modern environments filmed with cutting-edge Virtual Reality cameras. The clues trigger graphic-novel style animations, short films and information graphics to reveal fascinating facts from the past, helping users to answer a series of mysteries, and win tokens relating to each of the UAE’s seven emirates.
